Distilled on the 16th January, 2013, this whisky has been maturing in a Oloroso hogshead in our coastal warehouse 9 until bottled by the team to share with you.

With a high abv of 60.2% vol, this dram packs a punch with sharp star anise, liquorice and awakening coffee. The sharpness is balanced by sweet treacle, fruit cake and chocolate flavours ending with a robust finish.
An ethanol sharpness due to the high ABV. Treacle/molasses with chocolate orange. Tar/bitumen, worn leather balanced with caramel and hints of citrus zest
Liquorice, star anise giving a tart/sharpness. Coffees – sharp, awakening and vibrant. Hot chocolate, spices – cinnamon, bergamot, black truffle, sweet oiliness, caramel and toffee sweetness.
Syrup-like dark/maple syrup thickness. Leather, cumin, earthy dryness, dark chocolate, caramels, toffees, salted caramel, sweet fruit cake and spice – like clootie dumpling
A more robust aftertaste.
