Distilled on the 18th November, 2015, this whisky has fully matured in an Oloroso hogshead in our coastal warehouse 9.

With a high abv of 60.4% vol, this dram initially starts with a sharp ethanol nose, before developing into a warming, fruity and rich dram, ending with notes of salted caramel, pineapple, but without a long and lingering aftertaste.
Tasting Notes
NOSE
Ethanol due to the high ABV, Coffee – slight bitterness, tar/Bitumen, sweet aromas, peppermint, hints of soft fruits – strawberry
PALATE
Liquorice, Star Anise – tart/sharpness. A warming feeling – like hot oil, heavy stewed fruits, plums, dates – dryness. Coca-cola/Pepsi Molasses type richness
FINISH
Liquorice, Star Anise, dark chocolate, pineapple, salted caramel.
No long lingering aftertaste
