Some of us imagined making dried apple rings by baking them in the oven using lemon juice and cinnamon, whilst others made tangy sweet dill pickled buttered popcorn! A lovely sweetness on the palate neat – gummi bears and pear drops but also caramelised and candied nuts as well as homemade sweet pickles. With a drop of water a steaming hot creamy Indian vegetable korma filled the room and we immediately tucked in. Loaded with potatoes, tomatoes, carrots, peas and green beans we still made sure we had plenty of naan bread left at the end of the meal to dip into the creamy coconut sauce.
