A light Pinot grigio colour and a delicate aroma greeted The Panel. Slightly unripe apples, pears and apricots as well as vanilla, cut grass and crisp flatbread with honey, thyme and sea salt. On the palate; smooth like an almond milk cappuccino with the sugar blow-torched, served with a savoury salty ‘pretzel-croissant’ (shaped like a croissant but bathed in the golden brown glaze of a pretzel and sprinkled with sesame seeds). When we added some water the nose turned into a light and bright Manzanilla sherry served with olives and bread accompanied by an olive oil and balsamic dip.
