A stunning Arran Sauternes cask finish release here. Traditional Arran single malt was aged in oak casks for 8 years before a finishing period in ex-Sauternes, sweet wine casks. The Bordeaux sweet wine casks were carefully selected by Lochranza's master distiller to ensure a perfect marriage between the whisky and the imparted wine notes. 

Aromas of marzipan, fruit, banana, honeysuckle and melon are complemented by a palate of delicate honey and spice. This whisky is perfect to show off the sweeter side of Arran.

Nose: Marsipan and fruity notes, with banana, a floral note, honeysuckle and melon. On second nose there is a nutty note and a dash of spice. 

Palate: Honeyed, with zesty notes, and a spicy note. Vanilla and sultana come out with a bit of time. A rich finish.
