This Distillery Reserve Collection whisky by Chivas Brothers had a finishing period in bespoke sherry cask, no. #27359. The age of the youngest spirit was distilled on the 1st of February 2011 and bottling was on the 28th of August 2025 at a cask strength of 50.3% abv. 

With only 852 bottles in existence and bottled at full cask strength without chill filtration, this is the kind of whisky that serious collectors and Speyside lovers simply don't pass up.

Colour - Deep, rich amber

Nose - Sweet cranberries, sticky dates, dark caramel, chocolate orange, charred pineapple, star anise and a hint of violet

Palate - Morello cherries, homemade strawberry jam, raisin loaf, zesty orange, with a background of allspice and lively ginger

Finish - Lavish, spicy and complex





Founded in 1879 by James Fleming the distillery is situated in Aberlour village in the famous whisky producing region of Speyside. Aberlour is now owned by Chivas Brothers and it’s single malt is a best seller is France. The expertly crafted spirit for the core range is matured in both ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks creating a rich and complex style single malt.
