The GlenAllachie Sinteis 10 Year Old Mongolian Oak 58.5%

The GlenAllachie 2015 Mongolian Virgin Oak is the fourth release in the innovative Sinteis Series, created by renowned whisky maker Billy Walker. Initially matured in Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso sherry casks before being transferred to rare Mongolian virgin oak, this distinctive Speyside single malt balances rich sherry character with refined oak spice. Bottled at a cask strength of 58.5% ABV, with natural colour and non-chill filtered, it delivers notes of baked pastries, butterscotch and orchard fruits, followed by candied hazelnuts, baking spices, plum syrup, vanilla, mocha, honey and fig jam.
