Scorch is matured in intensely charred ex-bourbon barrels, creating aromas of hazelnuts, aniseed, oily smoke, garden herbs, pine and fennel that fill the nose. The palate offers notes of boiled sweets, tar, liquorice, clove, pepper, heathery peat smoke and sandalwood.

For over 200 years, Ardbeg has been made on the small, remote Scottish Isle of Islay. Ardbeg has been called “as close to perfection as makes no difference,” by whisky connoisseurs. Proof then, that Ardbeg truly deserves its incredible reputation. It’s a whisky that’s worshipped around the world.
