This delicious 34 year old whisky has been chosen as our third special release for Fèis Ìle 2021. An absolute delight with tropical fruit notes, wood spice, roasted nuts and a hint of vanilla and chestnuts on the finish. Limited to 249 bottles.
Just like the Fèis Ìle celebration that inspired this delicious single malt, each gloriously golden drop is alive with unique character and years of tradition. To create it, we let it mature in our coastal warehouse for over 30 years in a single refill Oloroso sherry butt.
Only when it was at the point of perfection did we decide to reveal its numerous delights; heady aromas of rain-drenched strawberries, nutty oak and candied orange peel, the tantalisingly tropical tang of banana, pineapple and coconut, and a satisfyingly smooth vanilla and chestnut finish that, once savoured, is never forgotten.
