Stunning modern Clynelish here with both a fruity and coastal character. This release by Chorlton Whisky was matured in a first-fill bourbon hogshead for a decade before bottling in 2026 at a bold 59% abv. The cask produced just 317 bottles. 

Fresh, coastal and gently waxy aromas are complimented buy notes of citrus, sea water, rose petals and mango on the palate. There are lovely phenolic and herbal touches to enjoy in the background with stone fruits on the finish.

Nose: The nose is beautifully fresh, coastal, gently waxy, with funky fruits popping through – I get tangerine, pineapple, condensed milk and herby olive oil.

Palate: The palate is very Clynelish, with citrus, sea water, rose petals and mango. Lovely little phenolic and herbal touches dance around in the background, with stone fruits in the finish.
