A superb 2009 vintage Aultmore from Gordon & MacPhail’s Wood Finished Connoisseurs Choice range of single malts. This release has been carefully and expertly matured in G&M's own casks with spirit entrusted to them from the Aultmore distillery. After a 3 year finish in ex-St Joseph red wine cask the resulting whisky is rich and fruity with raspberry, tangy redcurrant flavours giving way to rich milk chocolate. A fantastic quality whisky that is not to be missed.
