This 2013 9 Year Old small batch Ben Nevis release is presented by Single Malts of Scotland. It's made up of four refill butts that were filled in 2013, and matured for 9 years. It was bottled in 2023 by Elixir distillers, and will not disappoint.

Nose– Fat and rich with dusty dark chocolate and sultanas. Dried mango coated in chocolate and hazelnuts.

Palate– Beautifully thick with charred marshmallow and kirsch chocolates. Almonds and dried fruit build and develop with more melted chocolate

Finish–  The dried mango becomes more pronounced with mandarin

In 1825 ‘Long’ John McDonald founded the distillery in the foothills of the famous Ben Nevis mountain in the Highlands of Scotland. In 1989 the distillery was sold to the renowned Japanese whisky company Nikka who use much of the single malt for their own blends. The distillery’s 10 year old single malt was recently given a fresh design plus a none age statement has been added the portfolio.
