A 2024 Longrow release from Springbank. Offering the heavily peated side to their range.
Expertly matured for 18 years with a blend of 90% ex-sherry casks and 10% ex-port casks, this whisky was then bottled at 46% abv. Aromas of blackberry jam, walnuts, liquorice and a subtle smoke are complemented by notes of black forest gateaux, dates and dark chocolate on the palate. The finish is long with notes of coffee beans, sea salt and peat smoke.
