A superb Ben Nevis whisky released by independent bottler Cadenhead’s in celebration of the 2024 Campbeltown Malts Festival. Matured in ex-bourbon hogshead for 25 years and bottled at 49.3% abv. 

This whisky has great aromas of honey and tropical fruits followed by golden syrup, digestive biscuit and lemon flavours on the palate. One of 246 bottles which are fit for a celebration!

Official Tasting Notes

Nose: Honey, honeycomb, mango, pineapple, kiwi fruit, tropical fruits, gorse, heather.

Palate: Syrup, golden syrup, digestive biscuit, lemon, millionaires shortbread, oily, custard cream.

Finish: Vanilla, brazil nuts, citrus, lemon.

In 1825 ‘Long’ John McDonald founded the distillery in the foothills of the famous Ben Nevis mountain in the Highlands of Scotland. In 1989 the distillery was sold to the renowned Japanese whisky company Nikka who use much of the single malt for their own blends. The distillery’s 10 year old single malt was recently given a fresh design plus a none age statement has been added the portfolio.
