Official Tasting Notes

Nose - Citrus notes with a background of peat and a puff of smoke is immeadiately apparent.

Palate - A robust dram with the typical orchard fruits of Arran coming to the fore over a layer of toasted brioche and red berries

Finish - Citrus, Smoke, Chocolate, Vanilla, Coconut.

 

The Isle of Arran distillery is relatively new being founded in 1993 in the picturesque village of Lochranza. The area is notably home to some of the purest water in Scotland which aids in the production of a great natural whisky. In 2015 its first 18 year old came to market and is now part of the core range
