This bottling is named after Battlehill near Huntly which is a location know for skirmishes and resistance against Sassenach neighbours.
Aged in oak casks for 12 years this is a well balanced upfront whisky with notes of stone and stewed fruits, butterscotch, shortbread and hints of lemon zest. There’s a great warming finish with vanilla and toasted oak coming through.
