Glenturret 18 year old matured and bottled by Gordon & MacPhail for their popular Connoisseurs Choice range of whiskies. This range sits at the heart of G&M’s unrivalled portfolio and demonstrates the pursuit of perfection when matching cask with spirit. 

Filled in 2007 into a first fill sherry hogshead, cask no. #22606703 and left to rest for 18 years before bottling on the 4th of November 2025 at a cask strength of 59.8% abv. This single cask, UK Exclusive has delicious aromas of cinnamon, ginger and milk chocolate. With the palate offering sweet and rich spiced fruit flavours that lead to plum, charred oak and underlying citrus. The medium bodied finish has notes of red berries and black pepper savour and enjoy.

Nose: Cinnamon and ginger aromas complement milk chocolate.

Palate: Sweet and rich spiced fruit flavours lead to plum, charred oak and underlying citrus.

Finish: A medium bodied finish with red berries and black pepper. 

Glenturret distillery in the Southern Highlands whisky region is located in the town of Crieff, Perthshire. The owners are Lalique Group/Hansjorg Wyss who acquired the distillery quite recently in 2019. The new owners have prioritised making Glenturret Highland single malt a brand in its own right and all reference to the previous 'The Famous Grouse Experience' has been left behind.

In 2020 a whole new range was launched. This range is made up of the Triple Wood, 10 Year Old Peat Smoked, 12 Year Old, 15 Year Old, 25 Year Old and 30 Year Old. A new limited bottling’s range was also launched under the name ‘The Trinity’. The on site restaurant was awarded a Michelin Star in 2022. This is the first time a distillery in Scotland has been awarded such an accolade. Glenturret is now a great destination for tourists as well as whisky enthusiasts.
