A coastal and maritime Old Pulteney single malt here released by Scotch Malt Whisky Society. This ‘A Grand Day Out’ expression was distilled on the 27th of August 2013 before spending 12 years in a single ex-bourbon barrel. The distinctive briny, sharp and fruity spirit of Old Pulteney works particularly well when aged in bourbon. Sweet, vanilla and creamy notes imparted by American white oak complement this maritime, grassy distillate. 

This classic Old Pulteney was bottled at 55.1% abv this is one of just a 221 outturn.
