Distilled close to the Moray coast in Speyside, this light, mellow malt was finished in a ruby port cask for three months. Blackberries and cherries on the nose, white grapes in tow. The taste of fruit and berry sweetness. Plus a lightly spicy note. Persists at the back of the palate, with a trace of candied citrus
The three-month ruby port cask finish adds a lively red berry freshness. A hint of sweetness too. But the fabulous flavour of the original single malt is retained.
