“In 1968, George S Grant, filled some Glenfarclas malt directly from the cask as a Christmas gift for the staff, the word soon spread about this powerful and rich whisky. The whisky in question was measured at 105 degrees British Proof which is the equivalent of 60% today, and so cask strength whisky was born

The distinctive, and some say unforgettable taste of Glenfarclas Highland Single Malt Whisky is the result of the family’s experience over 150 years. Glenfarclas from the Gaelic – Valley of The Grass Greenland, nestles at the foot of Ben Rinnes. Far up on it’s heather covered slopes. fed by the melting snow of winter, crystal clear spring water bubbles up from the granite below.
