Lagavulin and celebrity Nick Offerman have partnered to launch Lagavulin Offerman 11 Year Old, a limited edition single malt Scotch whisky created collaboratively by Offerman and Lagavulin distillery manager Colin Gordon.
Offerman portrayed Ron Swanson on American sitcom Parks and Recreation from 2009-2015. Over the course of the series, viewers would learn about Swanson’s love for Lagavulin whisky. That passion carried over to the real world where Offerman became a spokesman for the brand, starring in a series of humorous videos titled My Tales of Whisky, in which he professes his love for the Lagavulin brand.

Lagavulin Offerman Edition is described as having notes of peat smoke, spices, dried fruit, and berries.

Distillery Profile
In 1742 there were at least ten illicit stills at Lagavulin, and it would be another 74 years until local farmer John Johnston founded the first legal distillery, in sight of Dunyvaig Castle. Its name may have changed over the years, but the quiet power of peat and smoke that pervades this masculine malt has not.
