A 16 year old MacDuff from the ever popular independent bottler Signatory Vintage. This release was distilled in 2007 and matured in first fill Oloroso Sherry butts before being bottled in 2024. Filled at 57.1% abv with no added colour and un chill-filtered. Macduff distillate is usually used in popular whisky blends so a single malt release is a great find and not to be missed.

Macduff was founded in 1960 by Macduff Distillers Ltd. The distillery is located close to the town of Macduff in Aberdeenshire and is sited on the banks of the river Deveron. Much of the malt produced is used for Lawsons blended Scottish whisky. The core range of single malt goes under the name The Deveron, consisting of the 10 and 12 year olds. Glen Deveron is the name given to the duty free range.
