An exciting limited edition whisky from Springbank released in early 2022. As the name suggest the local Belgravia barley grown in or around Cambeltown was used in the production of this bottling. The barley was malted on Springbank's own malting floors using age old techniques. Matured in 100% bourbon for 10 years there are well balanced sweet creamy notes with hints of honey and syrup. The finish is light and sweet with hints of salted caramel.

The Springbank distillery is located on the Kintyre Peninsula on the west coast of Scotland. Founded in 1824 the distillery is family owned by J & A Mitchell Ltd and is one of the last remaining in the Campbeltown whisky producing region. Releasing some fantastic quality whiskies demand in the market has rocketed in recent years making the brand hugely collectable. In 2019 Springbank was first on the Rare Whisky 101 list of investable whiskies. The distillery makes three individual styles of single malt. Longrow which is peated and double distilled, Hazelburn which is non-peated and triple distilled and Springbank which is slightly peated and distilled two and half times. Both Hazelburn and Longrow take their names from lost distilleries opposite the current site. All the barley used for these whiskies is malted using Springbank’s own traditional floor maltings. As well as a great core range there are also yearly limited releases of the older single malts.

Official Tasting Notes
Nose: Delicate oral notes kick off this dram, along with hints of digestive biscuit and a cereal note reminiscent of the malt barns. The bourbon influence is presented in notes of vanilla custard and custard creams. A fruity, cherry note develops over time.
Taste: The vanilla note from the nose develops on the palate into flavours of sweet, creamy victoria sponge. There are hints of honey and syrup, balanced with fresh barley water.
Finish: A light and sweet finish, with hints of salted caramel to round off this dram.
