Inspired by a visit to Islay, Ian Millar, Balvenie’s Distillery Manager, introduced ‘The Week of Peat,’ an annual tradition involving Speyside peat for kilning before their equipment maintenance. The Balvenie 17 Year Old The Week of Peat boasts flavors of butterscotch, honey, florals, citrus, and vanilla sweetness at a robust 49.4% ABV, with no chill filtration. This whisky offers a delightful blend of sweetness and creaminess, complemented by an enticing hint of peat smoke on the nose.
