Distilled in April 2006, this Glenallachie was filled into a Tawny Port Pipe and nestled away in their warehouses until Billy Walker - having bought the distillery and stocks - selected it specially for bottling in August 2021 as a single cask 15 year old. At a cask strength of 60.7% the port pipe produced 719 bottles.
Official Tasting Notes
Nose – Lashings of honey, dark chocolate and musky berries, followed by sweet spice, treacle and grape must.
Palate – Waves of blackberries, heather honey and cinnamon, followed by layers of mocha, dried fruits and vanilla pods.
