John Swinney recently visited Donald Trump in the White House to lobby for a change in the US tariffs imposed on Scotch Whisky imports. The Scottish Government is looking for a reduction or removal of these tariffs which are currently costing the Scottish Whisky Industry £4m per week in reduced export sales.
