The result of a multi-million-pound investment, Bonnington was commissioned in 2019 and began production in March 2020. This state-of-the-art distillery honours the pioneering spirit of John Crabbie & Co. while driving innovation with unique equipment, including bespoke squat-neck stills and twin-linked receivers. Using water drawn from an ancient aquifer 147m below the site, Bonnington is crafting a distinctive spirit that blends traditional Scottish methods with a modern, forward-looking approach.
