The Glen Scotia 15 year old is a real favourite here at WIO. This exceptional award-winning whisky was matured in first fill bourbon and re-fill American oak casks. There’s rich, smooth notes of vanilla oak and spicy aromatic fruits to enjoy on the palate. Followed by a warm, spicy and smooth finish. Bottled at 46% abv with natural colour.

Nose: Citrus peels, ginger snap biscuits, and baked fruits.

Palate: Plump fruits with a surprising dry finish, apricots, fruit salad, caramelised sugar and oak. 

Finish: Warm spicy, honey smoothness, oak and a dry finish.

Glen Scotia is located in the Campbeltown whisky producing region on the Kintyre Peninsula west of Scotland. The distillery has stood the test of time being one of the last surviving in the region. Once there were up to thirty distilleries now Glen Scotia is one of only three currently in operation. The distillery was founded in 1832 by the families of Stewart and Galbraith. With Loch Lomond Group now at the helm there has been much investment in making the brand as popular as it is today.
