The Hibiki Harmony Blossom 2022 is an exquisite limited edition blended whisky from Suntory. This release is a blend of malt and grain whiskies from the Yamazaki, Hakushu and Chita distilleries. Initially matured in oak then interestingly finished in casks made out of Japanese cherry blossom wood named Sakura. Enjoy this rare and unique expression for its floral aromas followed by the signature Hibiki depth and complexity of honey, orange peel, jasmine and chocolate notes.

Official Tasting Notes

Nose: Rose, lychee, hint of rosemary, mature woodiness, sandalwood

Palate: Honey like sweetness, candied orange peel, white chocolate

Finish: Subtle, tender long finish, with hint of Mizunara (Japanese oak)

Hibiki is a well know, award-winning, premium Japanese blended whisky. The Hibiki brand was created in 1989 by Suntory who firstly released age statement expressions. A none age statment named Hibiki Harmony was released in 2015. The crafting of the blend is complex. A minimum of ten grain and malt whiskies are chosen from three distilleries aged in no less than five cask types. Yamazaki, Hakushu and Chita are the three distilleries that are used in making this exceptional blend.  

The name ‘Hibiki’ means resonance in Japanese and is a celebration of the fine art of blending. This art of blending is an on going alliance of skilled blenders of the past, present and future.
