The first Glengoyne Cask Strength expression matured entirely in sherry oak. Glengoyne Cask Strength Batch No. 6 marks a defining moment in the series. Released around 2018, this Highland single malt is the first Cask Strength edition to be matured exclusively in sherry casks, showcasing Glengoyne’s slow‑distilled style at its most powerful and expressive. Bottled at its natural strength of 59.8% ABV, this un‑chillfiltered whisky delivers depth, texture, and intensity, with a rich natural amber‑gold colour drawn entirely from the cask.

Appearance
Natural amber‑gold, drawn entirely from extended maturation in sherry oak.

Nose
Rich and expressive, with Demerara sugar, ripe gooseberry, and soft dried fruits layered over gentle oak.

Palate
Full‑bodied and mouth‑coating. Thick, buttery toffee popcorn leads into banana, dried fruit sweetness, and rounded sherry influence, balanced by Glengoyne’s slow‑distilled spirit character.

Finish
Long and fruity, with lingering sweetness, soft oak, and a warming cask‑strength presence.
