A fantastic Distillery Exclusive Aberlour 11 year old matured in first fill ex-Oloroso sherry butts. This bottling is both powerful and rich with all the lovely dried fruit and spice flavours you would expect. Aromas of dark cherries, spiced apples and hazelnut praline are followed by flavours of poached pears, orange marmalade, plums, dark chocolate, ginger, nutmeg and clove on the palate. A rewarding finish that is long and rich. This limited edition whisky was bottled in March 2022 at a great strength of 49.4% abv.
