Stewart has chosen a small batch bottling of two casks aged one year apart - a 13 year old Port Pipe Puncheon and a First-Fill Sherry Hogshead. These two casks married together showcase the intensely fruity side of Arran where light citrus notes mingle with sweeter tropical fruit and caramel.

Official Tasting Notes

Nose: Luxurious notes of caramel, dates and vanilla. The aroma of tropical banana promisses a fruity dram.

Palate: The mouth-feel is light and floral with citrus and honeycomb. A hint of golden delicious apple joins the vanilla giving it a desert sweetness.

The Isle of Arran distillery is relatively new being founded in 1993 in the picturesque village of Lochranza. The area is notably home to some of the purest water in Scotland which aids in the production of a great natural whisky. In 2015 its first 18 year old came to market and is now part of the core range.
