An exciting new experimental 17 year old Deanston bursting with sun soaked Spanish flavours. This single malt was aged for fifteen years in ex-bourbon barrels before being finished for two years in Vino de Naranja casks that previously held fortified Spanish orange wine. 

Bottled at a robust 53.6% abv adding to the full flavour and structure. The palate offers bright citrus oils and blood orange upfront, layered with stone fruit and sultanas over a malty biscuit core. Vinous depth brings honey, ginger and a touch of warm spice.

An ideal choice for anyone who appreciates a well aged Highland whisky with a genuinely distinctive finish.

NOSE

Orange zest and marmalade lead, with dried apricot, honey and toasted almonds. Soft malt sweetness follows, lifted by light oak spice and a gentle herbal note.

PALATE

Bright citrus oils and blood orange upfront, layered with stone fruit and sultanas over a malty biscuit core. Vinous depth brings honey, ginger and a touch of warm spice.

FINISH

Zesty finish with lingering orange peel and a touch of oak.
