Caressed by the Atlantic winds, Nerabus is a hamlet by the shores of Loch Indaal on the Hebridean Island of Islay. Islay Gin Ltd is a family owned Scottish business and is the first and only dedicated gin producing company on the Hebridean island. Nerabus Islay dry gin is a superior small-batch hand crafted gin, infused with wild Islay heather. It is produced with 100 % Isle of Islay water and bottled on the island.
Heather is one of the main botanical symbols of Scotland, especially in the highlands where it grows in abundance. There are many varieties of heather and when in bloom, the Islay heather has very light purple flowers. The heather is hand picked in the months of August and September and then dried and stored for the infusion.

Nerabus Heather Gin 42%
Official Tasting Notes
Expect a subtle floral aroma, earthy undertones from the Heather and a noticeably smooth finish from the Islay water. The Heather is sustainably hand picked on the island in the later summer months and dried over the winter.
Serve with a slice of lime, a block of ice and an aromatic tonic. And if you have a sprig of fresh rosemary to hand, that adds to the lovely aromas.

Nerabus Islay gin was established in 2018 by John and Audrey Gow. The gin is named after a small hamlet on the west side of Islay overlooking Loch Indall. The brand is currently made up of Nerabus Heather and Nerabus Gorse which also come in a navy strength.
