A 2012 vintage Distillery Valinch Port Charlotte from Islay’s Bruichladdich distillery. After being matured in a single 2nd fill ex-Bordeaux Medoc cask for 11 years this whisky was then hand bottled at a robust 60% abv. One of just 403 bottles.

Official Tasting Notes

The distillery has become renowned for its innovation and willingness to experiment. There are three main lines produced, unpeated Bruichladdich, heavily peated Port Charlotte and ultra heavily peated Octomore. Not forgetting the botanist gin also distilled on site. The distillery has been very busy over the past twenty years producing new releases, batches and vintages of these great diverse whiskies.
