Nose: Coastal smoke, salty brine, damp wool contrasted with sweeter undertones of apple, lemon and a hint of demerara sugar.

Palate: Heavy and oily, with a medicinal note of iodine, charred wood smoke, and sea-salt. Rich layers of prunes, dates, and toffee are interwoven with spiced notes of nutmeg, cardamom, and orris root.

Finish: Long and powerful, carried by spices of nutmeg and star anise, underpinned by a damp mustiness.
